The village of Tyninghame is surrounded by  farmland and the cottage is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac within the village. The cottage garden opens out on to a village green behind the village hall. The front of the cottage driveway is bordered by shrubs and a hedge, beyond which is a further village green complete with goal posts. This has proved very popular with children keen to get out and play. Adjoining this is the village cricket pitch where matches are often held in the summer months.You can stroll on past this to the River Tyne as it makes its way towards the sea.The neighbouring cottages are residential and are not holiday lets. The neighbours are very warm, friendly people and enjoy talking to our guests!
